Dissatisfied Customer We came to Sierra's Grill for lunch on Monday, April 16, 2001 and paid almost $50.00. The service was very poor - server did not understand our request for hot sauce and said everthing is hot. Next we are vegetarian and got a Vegy Fazitas to get nothing but onions and 4 slices of green peppers. The tortillas were very dry. Also when we requested for a substitue for the rice since it is made with chicken broth we were not offered and given anything but beans. It was a very poor experience. [23 Apr 2001 13:44:19]

Great Restaurant The food is excellent and the service is great. We have been customers since the restaurant opened over 10 years ago. If you don't know what you want, try the fajitas, or the chimichanga. The fish dishes are also very good. This restaurant is definitely one of our favorites. [11 Apr 2002 13:05:03]

Good food, nice folks A hispanic friend recommended it to me. She and I went, and I foud the food to be excellent.
I don't think I'd want to try ordering yuppie veggie food, but this is not that kind of place. It is a latino restaureant that serves great latin food. [24 Sep 2005 17:49:37]

Good food, good for carryout too Over the past 20 years Sierra's has expanded from a Mom & Pop operation to a full service restaurant. Food is excellent and prices reasonable. If you are in a hurry for food you can fax a carryout request to have ready for pickup. [18 Apr 2006 17:37:41]

Great place & Gracious hosts I have been going to Sierra Grill for more than 10 years. They have grown in size but they maintain the great food. You cant go wrong with just about anything on the menu. I don't like their style of nachos as much as some others, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely worth trying! Amazing Small Town Feel Uptown Food! I often go to Sierra Grill about once a week. My roommates introduced this place to me over a year ago, and they have been going for years upon years. The owner recognizes us by face and stops by the table to say hi or waves to us when we come in from behind the counter. The margaritas are WONDERFUL and the food is unlike anything you'll find at one of those "Mexican" chain restaurants. The staff is wonderful, very attentive, and there is a strong family presence in this restaurant. To top it all off, their chips and salsa that come to every table are amazing. The salsa is fresh and hearty with a nice spicy kick at the end. I'm moving later this year and I will gladly make the 20+ mile trip to come back down to this hole in the wall often.
