good tex-mex, great buffet
Guapo's is a favorite lunch break in Bethesda among my friends co-workers. The buffet fare varies from day to day, but you can always have fajitas prepared to order by the friendly cook, and other offerings may include BBQ ribs, "mexi" fried chicken with cheese sauce (yum), spinach souffle (yum again), burritos, enchiladas, tacos, etc. Fix yourself a sopapilla, if you have any room left. Exellent Quality, Good Service
Guapo's is a nice, well managed Mexican restaurant specializing in the Gringo-Mex style. Menu is a little narrow with many of the New-Mex and estilo Mexicano offerings missing, but the quality of the food makes up for that. Good service and fresh ingredients added to some fine cooking make for an enjoyable evening. This friendly bistro is highly recommended. Salsa is outstanding. Prices are about right.
