GREAT WORK Everything was great here. This is by far the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life. It's a little pricey for me but it's worth the money. Wow, way to go. Keep up the great work. [13 Nov 2002 10:55:10]

Don't tell anyone This is the best "adult" restaurant in the area. With its superb service, great live jazz every night, and, of course, the wonderful food, the Asean Bistro never fails to impress me and my wife. We have found the two soups, Tom Yun (a spicey, seafood-filled delight) and the Asparagus with crab(light and flavorful) to be some of the best first courses we have ever had. For couples who have one who "does not like Chinese food" this is the place for you. There are many dishes that are not typically Chinese. I tell friends to get the Filet Mignon with the brown sauce and they will think they are at a great steak house. By the way, the fried calamari is the best we've eaten. Enjoy! [14 Oct 2005 17:14:38]

The Best Pan-Asian Dining in Maryland I have no idea why this place is not packed every night. Fortunately you can still get a reservation here for most nights, and you should get one ASAP. This place is a gem, excellent service, fantastic food and live music every night. If they have the lobster, GET IT! It's the best lobster I've ever had anywhere, and we have eaten at the finest restaurants in France, Italy, the Caribbean and throughout the U.S. It is juicy, flavorful, tender, and nothing like the hard rubbery dishes you get in some places. I am not a meat eater but my husband raves about the steaks. We were there with a manager from Morton's and he wouldn't order the steak but then proceeded to devour my husband's dish, saying it was much better than the ones that he eats at Morton's. People always go crazy for the lamb chops too. Excellent fried calamari and also sauteed calamari. I don't know why I'm going through my memory dish by dish, pretty much everything is great here. Nice wine list too, especially for an Asian restaurant which usually doesn't have so many nice choices. The brunch is fabulous, about 10 choices plus about 20 desserts and free champagne, I think it's about $16 per person. The location is not great which is the only reason this place is not as famous as it should be. Check it out. [06 Jul 2007 10:52:18]
