I don't recommend Ruby Tuesday. This review is based on one visit to this restaurant, but I'm not inclined to return. I went with some co-workers to this restaurant for lunch, and we waited 30 minutes for a table, even though the place didn't seem crowded at all. It seemed like the staff just had more important things to do than seat us.
Once we ordered, we waited a long time to get our food, which was generally not good. The dishes seemed sloppily put together, and sometimes not the right temperature.
The ambiance is not to my taste. It's a typical insipid fern bar [23 Aug 2003 13:35:30]

Won't eat at this Ruby Tuesday's again The food took forever to come out, the portions were smaller than every other Ruby Tuesday's I had ever been at, and the Oreo desert had fake gross Oreos in it (and yes I checked and they are suppossed to be real Oreos) and the ice cream was crystalized. I love Ruby Tuesday's, but haven't been back since this incident. [11 Feb 2005 17:35:17]

Watch the Wine My husband and I dined at Ruby Tuesday on Monday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day). We've dined at the Columbia, MD location about 4 or 5 times over the past 3 months. We are quite impressed with the salad bar (and we don't even like salad bars). The prime steak, prepared "Pittsburgh Rare" is almost as delicious as the up scale steakhouses (i.e., Morton's, Ruths' Chris, etc.). Herein is my complaint. As we were seated, the server appeared immediately (that's a very good "plus"). She offered to take our drink order and I didn't hesitate to review the wine offerings, figuring that the pricing would be moderate, as those of the entrees. I said, "I'd like a glass of the house red. Maybe a cabernet. Whatever red on the house list." Our dinner was pleasant, service very efficient. Then the presented bill--$8.49 for a glass of "house wine" in a casual dining atmosphere. There were $4.99 and even $6.99 glasses of wine. I resent spending $8.49 for a glass of wine when I specifically emphasized a moderately priced glass. I have learned a valuable lesson--always ask what the glass of wine costs. Never order a drink without seeing the listed price on the menu or having an explanation. [18 Mar 2008 19:02:35]
