This is the place my husband takes me when there is something special to celebrate. We both enjoy the range of dishes always offered. From the basic meal of fine steaks to the exotic of ostrich. The flavors that the chef brings to each dish is amazing. The restaurant offers a suggestion of wine with each course that I have found to be most enjoyable. The historical aspect of the building has a wonder ambiance and the dining rooms are cozy in the colonial decor. Each room has a warm fireplace to enhance it all. The service is excellent. As always, a very enjoyable evening out.
My husband and I often go to this restaurant for a special evening out. We haven't been here for more than a year and after this evening, we wondered...why not? We had a wonderful meal, the atmosphere was nice and the half price wine on Sunday evening was an added bonus! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a dining "experience". I tried the Cocoa Scallop Salad and the Wild Boar - they were both wonderful. We had the cheese plate after dinner and there was more there than we could finish and every cheese was different in flavor and delicious. We can't wait for our next visit.    [24 Feb 2008 22:05:45]
