You can do alot better than the Double T This resturant has very strange seating policies and rather high prices for a diner. If you arrange to have a party of any number to be seated, ALL persons MUST be present before your group can be seated. According to the manager that was on duty the day we were there, he cannot figure out how to arrange the tables unless all the people are present. To quote him, "he can't run his dining room unless everybody in a party is present". I find this to be very odd and I wonder if this fella can do simple math. One person in our party is disabled and really did need to sit. The manager would not change his mind on his idiotic policy, which eventually turned into a shouting match. Needless to say, we left. I think the Double T is just a slick come-on for people traveling through the area. I am pretty sure we will never be back at the Double T [03 Dec 2004 08:52:03]

Is this Double T Diner? I really enjoy dining at Double T Diner. The food is usually good and the prices are quite reasonable. Well, I guess all good things must come to a end. Tonight I ordered a french dip, and the menu clearly stated thinly sliced roast beef. This roast beef was thick enough to choke a horse. I complained and told the waitress that I would rather have a hamburger, and she had the nerve to ask me if I knew how thick a hamburger was, and she said it very nasty about it. The hamburger was pretty good, but after she brought it, she seem to avoid my table completely. I complained when I paid my bill, but that didn't seem to help. I was going to complain to the manager but they don't care. I was only one customer and whether I was satisfied didn't matter to them. I see why they add the tip in with the bill because that's the only way a sorry waitress like her could get a tip, and I always leave a good tip if the service is good. I will never dine at Double T diner again [04 Dec 2004 20:18:59]
