We had a great time/ try this place! We went last night with friends and kids and had a great time - we ordered three pizzas and some indian food and all was wonderful. They obviously cater to an Indian population, but we all enjoyed our entire meal there - the manager? owner? came over multiple times to make sure everything was okay and to welcome us. The pizza had great taste, and I loved the Daal (yellow Lentil curry) and Naan. I would recommend people try it again!
We went on a Thursday night and all agreed that it was a great night out. My friend said that on the weekends they do a very large carry out business as well [02 Jun 2006 08:06:47]

I'd go back... After reading the earlier reviews I was concerned about going here, but my son said Italian, and I really wanted Indian. Great compromise! We went for lunch and the place was nearly empty. However, there was constant carry out activity. We got samosas as starters and they were some of the best I've ever had. Very fresh with good texture and a nice blend of flavors. It came with two sauces, one hot, one sweet, both very complementary. We ordered two Italian dishes as entrees. The calamari was very tender and tasty. I had to fight my son off to keep them for myself. My son had the Il Forno pasta dish and was quite happy with it as well. We were also presented with a white pizza on the house. We enjoyed that as well. My ONLY suggestion would be a little less salt in the food, but I know my tastes are on the lite side from the norm there. We were in absolutely no hurry, so the easy-paced service was exactly right. The prices are quite moderate and the waiter asked us for our coupon. We used it with no problem. There was a TV running in the main dining room and I never appreciate that much since I don't watch TV. We sat at the only table that didn't have access to it so it wasn't a problem. I would definitely go back. [19 Nov 2006 15:27:11]

The Best Indian Food in Town, Great Pizza I've been eating indian food at Metro Dhaba for over 10 years. The food's always been great and reasonably priced. I have never had any problems with the air conditioning not working while I was there. The last two reviewers don't know what a good restaurant is. The pizza is cooked in a clay oven and is very good. Basing an entire restaurant off of one bad experience with a waitress is not the way to go.
I think the last two reviews were based off customers being upset about the addition of indian food to the already popular italian menu.
Now thats a crying shame! [08 Dec 2006 11:01:44]

Great great great This is my favorite pizza EVER. The owners are such interesting and lovely people. I love going there for pizza, for indian food. Make sure you stock up on the frozen take home entrees - so reasonably priced. [15 Dec 2006 17:15:20]

Good Pizza, Good Family Environment I have been eating at Il Forno/Metro Dhaba for the past 4 years. Its great, there is Indian food for me, and Pizza for my kids. It couldn't be any more perfect? AC worked perfectly fine. Service was a little slow, but the food was worth the wait. [08 Oct 2007 16:13:47]
