Excellent We had Crab Cakes, Duck, Crab Imperial. Flavor: Excellent, fresh, perfectly seasoned, portions were ample. Waiter (Terry, I think) was helpful, answered all our questions, his recommendations were perfect, table was cleared quite promptly, water glasses were refilled, he was always attainable, the bill arrived on time and we felt no sense of being rushed. The restaurant was very clean, we loved the style and feel of being right on the dock, don't recall hearing music, no kitchen noise, bathrooms were clean. Superior to most restaurants on the eastern shore, prices were reasonable, definitely will recommend, cannot think of an occasion on which it would not be fitting, our group of 11 felt quite comfortable, we have no connection with the owner or employees. From the size of the customers on Sunday, October 21st, I would say reservations are probably needed. We will definitely be back!! We want to enjoy a window table next time! [30 Oct 2001 12:15:31]

Family ce;lebration *Yesterday our family of 10, out to celebrate several special occasions, were greatly disappointed in the service. We arrived 2 minutes ahead of our reservation time of 1:00, we finally got our meals at 2:40. Salads were limp, we had to ask our waitress, for water refills, we had told her we wanted the meal order to go in with the appetizer order which we finally was taken at 1:30, instead of that she put in the meal order at 2:00. Complaints to the manager rendered only excuses, no apologies, to top it off the 18% gratutiy was applied even though in our opinion they did not deserve one cent! We had traveled for 3 hours to get to the restaurant, spent about $19 in gasoline plus bridge toll merely to experience the most disappointing outting in our lives. This is a restaurant we had enjoyed many times before, and recommended it to numerous others, even sent relatives from Missouri and Oklahoma to it. Alas, what happened to a formerly good restaurant is unexplainable. Is there a new manager? What is the problem? I am terribly hurt that our children paid for this disaster as a Mothers Day gift to me. [18 May 2003 15:29:22]

A celebration at Suicide Bridge Yesterday we had a disappointing experience at S.B. Restaurant because of the slow and indifferent attitude of the waitress. Earlier I described the circumstances in detail. Since writing that I have had a wonderful response from a manager who was not on duty yesterday as well as from the owner. Both have been most anxious to resolve the issue, and I applaud their sincere response in apologizing nad taking steps to rectify the situation. [18 May 2003 17:51:26]

Service The service was horrible. The waitresses were rude, and they ran out of the all-you-can-eat crab feast! [14 Aug 2003 21:59:22]

Great Restaurant We love the restaurant. Used to come for the all you can eat crabs, but this year found out about the Buffet on Friday night and took advantage of it two Friday nights. Want to come again with some friends. I wonder if the buffet will be available and what dish they will use instead of the soft shell crabs, which are my favorite. [09 Sep 2004 09:59:55]

7/13/2007 Lunch at SBR Two very good friends and I are planning a luncheon for a group of our HS friends. We heard that SBR was a unique restaurant with good food and a water view. So, we traveled 1 hour+ to try it. We had an exceptional lunch and discussed our plans with the manager's mother (who was delightful). She was very helpful and very flexible in meeting our needs. Lunch at SBR Sunday, my son & I were on our way home from Ocean City when he suggested taking the back way to a restaurant his father had taken him to in Hurlock. He raved about the buffet they have. I was pleased to find such a pretty place right on the water and I had a delicious crab imperial sandwich and tasted my sons flounder. Both were great. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Would recommend. [20 Aug 2007 10:57:47]
