Good but Expensive Spanish cuisine is not that common in the area, and the two Andalucia locations (Bethesda and Rockville) are the only ones that come to mind. The food is quite good, but it comes at a dear price. The prices might not seem so bad if the atmosphere were fancier and the restaurant wasn't situated in an industrial park. I remember especially enjoying a dish with chicken, red wine, and olives. [11 May 2000 14:15:16]

Family Friendly Very Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere, rivals food I've had in Spain. [24 Feb 2003 16:19:57]

Good Spanish Food. The food is great. If you like seafood this is a great place to eat. The red wine is great also. Truly authentic spanish cuisine. [26 Jun 2003 16:23:08]

Horrible, Please Avoid. My wife and I had the displeasure of eating dinner there last night. The service is terrible. "Waitress"/college student daughter of the owner does not know what service with a smile is. I cannot believe they have the nerve to charge you an automatic 18% gratuity for such horrible service. For a $65 meal, you really don’t get much food on your table.
About the food ….there’s not much positive to say. Our main dishes were extremely bland, and way overpriced for what you get. Seafood does not seem fresh and the chef overcooks it all to rubber like feel. For example the mussels in every dish we ordered were consistently cooked to the point of being dry and chewy.
I've eaten all over DC/MD/VA at numerous restaurants and this was one of the least satisfying dining experiences I've endured. You leave the restaurant feeling ripped off. [28 Sep 2005 08:28:36]
