One of My Favorites The all-you-can eat buffet is the best deal in town in my opinion. They usually feature curry lamb or curry chicken on the buffet, an assortment of vegetable dishes, fresh baked pita bread, etc, all for about $9. The vegetable dishes are usually excellent; my favorite is peas and mushrooms. Ironically, this restaurant is right next door to Ambrosia, one of the other great deals in town. I will say Ambrosia's lamb is more tender than India Grill's. But India Grill is still a great deal on good food. [24 Jan 2003 15:30:19]

Wonderful food and inexpensive too! My husband and I have made it a typical spot to have lunch or dinner. The food is consistently good, and it is definitely inexpensive. So, it's affordable to stop there often. Excellent buffet for lunch (chicken) or dinner (lamb). Best Naan bread. [25 Mar 2004 21:46:39]

Reliably great food My girlfriend and I are great fans of India Grill. The friendly staff and rock-solid flavors are always a treat. As the others have mentioned the Naan is quite good and the buffet always has a prime selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes. Sauces are consistant in both flavor and texture and meats are cooked to near perfection. Prices are reasonable, entrees range from 7 to 15 dollars and appetizers are quite affordable.
They tend to use clarified margarine rather than ghee, so if you're a purist you might (might) notice a minor variation in flavor and mouth feel. But if you're a vegan, then you are in luck. This is not to be considered a draw back. The food is excelent, expecially for the price.
The decor is standard. Some indian artwork reminds you where to put your mind.
You will enjoy India Gril [01 Feb 2005 18:43:52]

Order from the menu - it's much better than the buffet I think this is the best north Indian food in town. Among their best you will find Bindi Masala and Allo Gobi. But the Vegetable Makhani is wonderful and I love their Samosa Chat.
Don't forget the Masala Tea. It's much better if you ask them to make it with the sugar already added. The sugar just doesn't dissolve well enough if you add it at the table.
But, order off the menu. It's much better when they make it specially for you. [05 Dec 2005 09:45:14]

Vegetarians will love this place My husband and I eat at India Grill twice a week-every week. They are more than happy to accomodate in making the buffet selections spicier if preferred. Always a nice selection of vegetarian dishes. Great service, clean atmosphere, best Indian food around especially the Aloo Gobi!! [15 Apr 2006 16:31:01]

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT I have been going to India Grill for over 7 years now and it is my favorite restaurant of all time. I used to be all about the Malia Kofta, however I have recently switched to Navrattan Korma. Yum! That and some meat samosas.... mmmm... I know what I'm getting for dinner!
You can sit outside when there is nice weather and the staff really gets to know you. They pretty much have my dish memorized. ;) [16 Jan 2007 10:09:21]

Excellent food at a great price I was the first customer of the day when I tried this excellent restaurant - very early, so some delay in the food preparation or a lapse in the service would have been understandable. In fact, I was greeted warmly, offered any assistance in choosing from the extensive menu, and consulted on the degree of spicing I preferred. An extraordinarily good Kashmire Rogan Josh came out of the kitchen very promptly accompanied by an extremely good mango lassi and a very generous serving of the wonderful naan other reviewers always note. The owner/manager's solicitude made what would have been an excellent meal entirely outstanding. I will be bringing friends to dine here very soon. [25 Apr 2007 17:35:32]
