nice atmosphere but should be better
This is a nice looking restaurant on the inside which took over for the excellent Cafe Bethesda North. While this restaurant serves as one of the few Greek restaurants in Rockville, Cafe Bethesda is definitely missed. The food is good, but not great, and it seems overly pricey. I'm hesitant to go back after someone dining in our party had a piece of broken glass in their rice pudding dessert (normally cause for a free meal, but no such luck here-- maybe because the diner was good natured about it).    [23 May 2000 14:37:56]

Snobby Service
If you are looking to be ignored while you are ordering your dinner - go to Mykonos. The server (and I believe he is also one of the owners) could not be bothered to acknowledge me as I placed my order, nor make eye contact when he was serving the dishes. My husband ordered wine and he was quick to offer additional glasses, but when I wanted a refill for my drink, he could not be bothered to come to the table. I must say, the food came out quick, and it was pretty tasty, however, I want to feel welcomed when I go out to eat    [16 Dec 2004 18:46:32]

If you go, you will return again & again.
My name is Michael Arends. We have eaten at Mykonos averaging once a month for the past 6 years since we moved to Gaithersburg. Awesome food always. I usually get the big dinner platter and she gets the spanakopita. Slow service about 25% of the time. Good portions, so we take a doggie bag.
