Friendly, courteous service; marvelous food, with regular specials which never fail to please, e.g. the pork chop stuffed with spinach and gorgonzola, the crab cakes, and the homemade ravioli. Situated in a hotel, but with a loyal, local following. []
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: The specials are always excellent, especially the crab cakes with pesto, and the mussels are always plump and juicy.

The food, service and ambiance at Sergios is just right. We particularly enjoy their seafood, veal and pasta dishes. [16 Aug 2003 18:24:05]

Friendly service for generations We've gone to Sergio's for over 20 years and, even more than the food, enjoy the personal attention that the owner gives his guests. [21 Dec 2003 18:56:27]

Delicious food with great service I eat here regularly because the food and the friendly service never fail to please. Sergio and/or his son Luigi are always on hand to make sure the operation runs smoothly. Reasonably priced wine list is a plus as well. This is definitely not a "hotel" restaurant. It has a great neighborhood following and intimate atmosphere. [14 Jan 2004 16:37:34]

Consistently Excellent, always a wonderful treat I have been going to Sergio's in Silver Spring for over 15 years now. Though I have not kept an exact count, I'd say I have dined there about 50 times over that span. The food and service never fail to meet my lofty expectations. The meal begins with a lovely, simple and perfect lettuce and parmesan salad. Any of the appetizers are an excellent choice. I am partial to the asparagus-stuffed ravioli as a starter. The main course is where Sergio's shines. They typically have several specials that make the decision very difficult. If you ask what they recommend for the evening, they give you an honest response, and the results are always amazing. Again, I am partial to the Stuffed Pork Chop. The Swordfish is also particularly good. For dessert, the Tiramisu is outstanding. [02 Feb 2004 21:43:21]

Outstanding. Don't miss this one. One of our very favorite restaurants in all of DC. You can't go wrong - nice atmosphere, great food and very reasonable prices. It's authentic, too. [08 Feb 2007 20:22:02]

YUMMY!!! I haved been going to Sergio's for a LONG time, and love, love, love it!! The food is wonderful, and they will even make my favorite appetizer, antipasto caldo, which is no longer on the menu. We always had our business lunches there, as well as Christmas Eve lunches. I'm getting hungry!! [31 May 2007 15:10:45]
