Do Not Eat Here
Eating here has been the worst diner experience I have ever had! Even the manager was extremely insulting and rude. It took almost an hour to get our food. So to Pete & Sam ( the owners) your management staff might have to be carefully screened to weed out the source of a problem that could eventually destroy your livelihood.    [17 Oct 2001 12:44:25]

GOOD, HOT, & A LOT!
The way I see it is, GOOD, HOT, & A LOT! A kind greeting at the door, a short wait when the place is full, which is usually all the time, (so they must be doing something right), fast attentive service, great food with very large portions and a very “wallet friendly” menu. I grew up in New England, the home of family run diners and the Towson Diner is a full size restaurant, with a warm family like staff, all wrapped up with an authentic diner look. In Maryland, the home of “NO CUSTOMER SERVICE” the Towson Diner shines like a GEM!    [10 Nov 2001 00:19:38]

Why u hatin on this place
I go to college by the Towson Diner. The food is very good, service very good, and it's open 24 hours. It's not too expensive.
If I could have one thing to eat for the rest of my life it'd be easy, French toast, Towson Diner French toast.    [12 Nov 2002 00:32:09]

The best? If not close enough for me
Towson Diner not only has great food but a wonderful staff. I eat there more than I eat at my own home, and the staff there treats you like a prince, even if you are a pauper.
As for the food, everything I have sampled has been wonderful. And the recent inclusion of a veggie burger makes vegetarians like myself quite happy.
So in conclusion, while not exactly the restaurant at the end of the universe, the delightful staff and hot good food makes the Towson Diner wonderous.    [10 Dec 2002 15:41:29]

Not the best dinner in the area
My experience at Towson Dinner has been less than desirable. It is smoky, overpriced, and the food just isn't very good. Perhaps the only reason it is always packed is because of its location.    [06 Mar 2003 17:38:21]

Towson Diner is tops
On a recent visit I ate several times at the Towson Diner. I have lived in both New York City and Las Vegas and the Towson Diner is tops. The food, service and cleanliness were well above average. I visit Baltimore several times a year and will make it a point to continue patronage at the Towson Diner. Good Work Sam and Pete!!    [13 Mar 2003 16:26:27]

ode to towson diner
Towson Diner is the best place to go if you're hungry.
It's cheap, you can smoke there, they have jukeboxes, the food is fast, and it's in Towson, the best town in Maryland.

The service is great, except for one time when our waitress was a b..... But it's cool cause we didn't tip her. That's all there is to it.

I took my mother out to dinner at the Towson Diner one night and bought her surf and turf. It was delicious. I recommend the Towson Diner, it's fantastic.    [19 Apr 2003 19:34:54]

Way Overpriced
Who wants to spend $15 for a seafood dinner at the diner?? Come on a diner is supposed to be a diner. Why don't they change the name if they want to charge over $7 for a kids dinner and $8 for a reuben?    [01 Sep 2003 11:02:39]

It's OK
Been there several times. Service is uneven and food is average. It's a great location, however, and easy to get to and convenient place for people to get together for a meal. Parking is a bear but there's not much they can do about that.    [10 Sep 2003 11:28:55]
