Great Steaks & Brews
I ate at Jack Russell's on Oct. 11, 2003 and had the best tenderloin I have ever had. The place rocked. Cute bartender, great waitress, and a cool building. They brew their own beer on site (try the Blueberry Ale!).    [24 Jan 2004 20:57:37]

Jack Russell's
Ate at Jack Russell's in July of 2005....it was the best meal we had the entire week in Bar Harbor. My husband and my two teenage sons agreed!

The tenderloin was the best...as well as the Prime Rib....

Wait staff was friendly...and dessert was awesome....

wonderful service and food
oh my gawd! this restaurant is wonderful - the food, drink, and service were awesome! Prime rib and filet mignon that melt in your mouth! a friendly waiter who served the entire restaurant (we got there at the beginning of the season) with a smile and no rushing us at all, and a desert to die for! Not Good
My wife and I must have hit Jack Russell's on a bad night because our food was less than adequate. My steak was terribly overcooked (charred) and my wife's "fresh seafood" was very obviously frozen. Hands down, best restaurant in Bar Harbor
Steaks cut to order are all choice or higher. Filet mignon is best I ever had.

Seafood is NOT frozen (don't know what 'Rob' is talking about. Their fish & chips was great. House brews were good.
