The Blueberry muffins and blueberry pancakes are the best in town. With a coffee cup that is never empty. The service was great and the enviroment was cozy. Anytime we visit Maine we have to get breakfast at Jordans. Lookin to see if I can order mixes online. Haven't been there for 2 years but I'm craving it.    [04 Jul 2003 21:55:22]

We stop here every stay in Bar Harbor.

There is almost always a short line out the door. I think it's the only restaurant with benches outside the door! It's well worth the ten minute wait. Great food, great value!    [24 Aug 2003 15:13:07]

Wonderful Light Breakfast with Maine Blueberries Galore!

The ONLY place to eat breakfast in Bar Harbor
I go to Bar Harbor as often as I can, and Jordans is always a must-do. Great place to get a hearty breakfast. Nothing too fancy, just dependable quality with quick and friendly service.

Diner atmosphere with booths, tables, stools at the counter. See all kinds of foks, locals & tourists.

If you go solo, sit at the counter and watch the waitresses call out orders to the cooks, who seem to memorize everything!

Better than All the Rest
My family and I have been coming to Bar Harbor for eight years and every morning we eat at Jordan's. There has never been a day when we have not had breakfast there. The pancakes are divine, the home fries are to die for, the muffins are perfect, and the coffee is always flowing. The service there is incredible, there is never a long wait, and the people are friendly. The staff at Jordan's has become like family now and I always look forward to seeing them every year. Jordans Restaurant
I have been coming to Jordans for many years and have NEVER been disappointed. During the tourist season, there always seems to be a line, but oh so well worth the small wait. There staff are superb and the meals are to die for!!
Their blueberry pancakes and muffins are huge! I don't go to BH without planning for breakfast or lunch or both :) there. As someone else has mentioned, the "show" is watching the wait staff and the cooks interact...mind boggling how they keep it all separate!!    [09 Jul 2007 00:32:00]
