A must try! Every year when my husband and I go to Bar Harbor we eat in Maggie’s Classic Scales. The food is wonderful, fresh tasting, and seasoned perfectly. During the long winter months I think about eating here, and our wonderful romantic dinners. The mussels appetizer is one of our favorites along with any lobster dish. Their desserts are the perfect ending for dinner. Food that is served fresh makes a huge difference, we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. [26 Sep 2003 12:04:41]

Fresh Fish from local fisherman I used to live next door and work in Bar Harbor. Eat here and avoid the downtown tourist traps. [07 Jan 2004 06:35:35]

5 Stars We have been going to Maggies' for the last 6 years when we go to Bar Harbor. Why did I rate Maggie's 5 stars you ask...the food and the friendly staff of course. Maggie's is noted for their organic food and wonderful home made entrees. The food is out of this world! It is the only restaurant in Bar Harbor where the food is beyond description.
