A must while in Bar Harbor
I had their Tuscan Tenderloin, probably the best steak I've ever had.
The soup of the day a roasted red pepper and lobster bisque was velvety smooth and full of flavor. Every thing we ordered was excellent. Mama DiMatteos is located behind the village green in the center of town. We were lucky enough to find it!    [15 Jun 2003 18:24:23]

Absolutly an amazing place to eat. I had the chance last summer to go there. Their steemers with garlic and tomato to start off my meal was unbelievable. The best food in Bar Harbor. If you like wine, they have a great assorment. Please stop by and try their food!    [24 Apr 2004 11:26:47]

a don't miss in Bar Harbor
We were lucky enough to walk off the main st. and discover Mama's. It's a small relaxed restaurant, in the middle of town, without the main st. rush. Our food was excellent. Service friendly and relaxed. Can't wait till our next visit!!    [30 Jun 2004 08:23:54]

Freaking Awesome
I love this place! It's probablly the best Italian food I've ever had. Their motto is "there is no such thing as too much garlic" and its true! I love garlic, and this is probablly the best place for that!    [11 May 2005 16:56:14]
