Bottoms up! Another couple, my wife and I, had lunch here. We found the beer very good, the service good, and the prices reasonable. It was worth the forty mile drive we made, but unless you prize beer more than food, it's probably not worthy of a longer drive. [10 May 2001 12:31:23]

Horrible They should stick to serving just beer and peanuts. The service is bad, the food horrible. [16 May 2003 23:58:30]

Lobster Ale! My husband and I stayed across the street from this restaurant at the Belfast Harbor Inn. It was a convenient place for a good meal served quickly. The previous review was not what we experienced at all. We had great lobster and scallops, twice! The childrens' portions were generous, and the waitresses we had were very pleasant and professional. But the Belfast Bay Lobster Ale was excellent, and we bought some to take home. It is a red ale and no, there is no lobster in it- they say they get asked that all the time. I'm not into stouts, but my husband thoroughly enjoyed the Oatmeal Stout. [17 Aug 2003 21:23:50]

We travel 25 miles to dine here and have a cocktail. Very low stress end to any day, great drinks and food has always been good. Christine and Denise are friendly and make everyone feel like a friend. [25 Aug 2003 14:33:55]
