Wonderful Maine Lobster at Young's In 1998, we spent 2 weeks in Bayside, Northport, ME. While there we visited Young's twice and brought takeouts back to our cottage twice. Each experience was terrific! We had succulent lobster, corn on the cob, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed each meal, and this year we'll be back! [05 Jun 2003 14:00:02]

A must if you're in this part of the state! After a few trips to pick up the lobsters and bring them home, we finally found that the best way to enjoy Young's is to take a bottle of wine and eat on the back deck - especially at sunset. About the time you've finished your first glass of wine they call your order. When you're done you just dump the spent shells in the rubbish and no muss with the clean up. I'll go back to Belfast if for no other reason to go back to Youngs! [25 Jul 2003 14:59:27]

New Orleans Lady Misses Food in Maine Not often people from New Orleans hanker for Yankee food, but I'd love a lobster from Young's Lobster House about now. I love to go to Maine, and one big reason is picking out my lobster, sitting on the back deck, and of course, the grand lobster served simply, but the best. [13 Jul 2004 22:53:30]

Ain't Nothing Better! Went to Youngs to purchase lobster for the 10 hour trip home. Great price, great service and awesome lobster. This is the cream of the crop for lobster sales! We'll be ordering lobster from Youngs via FED EX for some of our parties this year. Great!! [16 Aug 2004 10:32:50]

Much better options available I have visited the area for years and am now a full-time resident. I tried Young's Lobster Pound once and was, after considerable wait, served a small lobster roll with almost no actual lobster meat. My mother in-law and aunt recently visited, and went there without asking. When they complained about the service and food that night, I wasn't surprised at all. I have never heard anything positive about the place. [04 Oct 2006 12:42:31]

Impossible to beat. We are residents on NJ with a beautiful summer home in Stockton Springs just 13 miles out of Belfast. We spent 6 months ea. year in Maine and always have a houseful of guests who want to eat the BEST MAINE Lobsters. We only recommend YOUNGS as we have tried em' all and demand the best for our guests. Ray runs a tight ship and sees to it that your satisfied with the quality of his fresh caught Lobsters.
Not related to them but will gladly give a personal recommendation by calling us in NJ, Nov-May at (973)383-9469 or May-October in Maine at (207) 567-4070. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT. Remember Ron & Luci said so. [21 Mar 2007 20:13:55]

Best Around I live in Maine and this is my favorite spot to go for lobster and clams. The lobster is so good and the clams are always clean with no grit in them. This is the place I always recommend for a great shore dinner! [10 Nov 2007 22:01:37]
