99 has a variety of foods. They offer sandwiches, wraps, steak, chicken, a variety of salads, mexican entrees, etc. The food is excellent and the service is good. I enjoy their 1/2 lb sauteed tenderloin tip salad served on lettuce, with tomatoes, flavored taco strips, grated cheese, and more. And they do have a good selection of dressings. They have a bar that seats perhaps 30 people. The restaurant seats maybe 100. The noise level is moderate and cheery. I have always been satisfied with the service. I sometimes ask for a variation of something on their menu and they are good with granting my wishes. I would however, recommend you call in and ask to be put on their wait list. No consistency. Good one time, bad the next.
After several visits, we found this restaurant to be very inconsitent. Quality varies from time to the next. Unable to get burgers cooked 'my way'. Are they precooked and simply finished on site?    [27 Feb 2005 17:39:39]

TOTALY HAPPY
I have been to the 99 restaurant about 30 times since they opened, when I take someone their, I know that I and my guest will always be very pleased with our meals.
I like the new menue items they offer, I like the prices, and I like the portions, and best of all the pleasent wait staff and decor.
Thanks for comming to Biddeford, and giving us a fine family restaurant that you don't have to go broke on, to feed your family.

In your bar on Thursday night
My husband and I were in your bar Thursday night go there often but last night we had terrible service,we were very disappointed.
this is how we were treated.
1.to get a drink she ignored us for a long time 10 min.
2.when we got a seat she never cleaned our space for 15 min then ,there was a plate with food, 2 empty glasses ,it was very messy, I couldn't even put my glass of wine on the counter it was so dirty.
3.My wine I got was no good so I asked her for a new one .
4.All night long she ignored us my husband finally said something can we order dinner!!!
5.My meal was cold had to be sent back!!!
6.My husband wasn't going to tip her very because she did not give us good service!!!! But I did.

99 has changed
We went to the 99 and the whole amosphere of it has completely changed. Too corporate. We were told that they have changed the large beer glasses (advertised at 25 oz, only 23 oz), plus you are only allowed 2 per visit. The waiter/manager told us "We can only serve 2 large beers, but you can have as many as you want of the small beers". Not good business at all.    [27 Sep 2007 12:42:02]
