Dynasty Buffet I'm writing to the respectful diners to let them know that dynasty buffet is a great restaurant. [25 Nov 2003 12:59:25]

D Nasty Buffet Yeap, that is what the locals call it. Yes it is cheap but the food is horrible. I guess you get what you pay for. [14 Oct 2005 11:52:17]

Regular Orders GREAT/Buffet FAIR First off let me say that the ratings I've given are for a regular order or regular takeout, not for the buffet.
The buffet is at best fair. Even though that is the name of this restaurant & so the typical consumer should expect that to be done well, it isn't. Most of the time the food is lukewarm at best. And, the buffet containers are not kept full enough for the dishes to retain the proper moisture & flavor. My suggestion is that if you're insistent on going to the buffet itself that you go during what would be a typical busy time for any restaurant, and hope that it is indeed busy enough for the food to be kept hot and rotating in/out of the containers. What's really unfortunate is that this restaurant can make great food but doesn't know how to keep a buffet running properly so that it doesn't ruin the food. The buffet does have desserts available also (including ice cream), which typically aren't degraded by the poor running of the buffet.
Now, if you just ignore the buffet portion of this restaurant and order regularly or order takeout, you are in for a much better experience. Ordering/eating this way, you will find that the food quality & taste is above average to excellent and easily outperforms the other 'chinese american' restaurants in the area. I could try and pick out some dishes that are better than others when regularly ordering but they are all good and their soups are exellent also. [18 Feb 2006 16:15:47]
