Peach Shortcake!!
The best dessert I've ever tasted. The restaurant is very low-key, basically like a small diner, serving sandwiches, salads, and other casual fare. Eat anywhere you like for lunch or dinner, but stop here for dessert!    [29 Jul 2002 20:13:55]

Breakfast is a must, Lunch a real treat
From the funky wooden booths, set at angles to accomodate all sizes of groups including three with a very short single booth seat, to the prompt and very friendly service, you can't beat The Ebbtide. The homemade baked goods from outrageous cinnamon rolls at breakfast to their famous peach shortcake, are outstanding. The breakfast has the requisite variety of egg dishes or oatmeal if you are being careful. Lunches are various and delicious and the chowders are outstanding. Kids -- every letter of the alphabet appears somewhere in the menu so have fun finding them while you wait.    [10 Jul 2005 08:53:45]
