The best meal on the island Very nice setting and very relaxed. Nice to be able to bring your own wine. [02 May 2003 16:52:42]

Rice Rolls? The charm here is only skin deep. A colorful and well-appointed decor of local art and pastels greets you as you enter the restaurant.
Only empty filler buttresses the decor. The wait staff was inattentive, at best. Next, the seaweed salad was a nice twist on the original, serving the seaweed over fresh greens, but was overpriced for the amount of seaweed. Then, the sushi was embarrassing. There was so little fish in the spicy tuna and other rolls--and I mean little--that we were essentially eating rice rolls. If the wait staffed had checked back, we could have exchanged the rolls for something else. Instead, we ate the them rather than starve. When a server did appear and we complained, the management did not respond. Instead, we were presented with the bill.
Save your money. There are much better restaurants on the island. [02 Sep 2003 14:03:03]
