A warm surprise
We ate at Amadeaus on a snowy Ann Arbor night. The food was rich, comforting and wonderful. Prices were reasonable. Service was a little slow, but certainly worth the wait.
The piano player was a nice surprise.    [23 Aug 2003 16:37:20]

Cozy European Ambiance
We went to Amadeus, a small family-owned restaurant downtown, for Brunch very recently. It was below freezing outside, so were very pleased to be greeted with the ambient and whimsical coziness we found on the inside. Filled with quaint antiquities, relics of the past, and little european statuettes and wooden carvings, it was like stepping back into the Old World. It felt like a grandparent's hug. Our young waitress was cheerful and kind to us. The food was wonderful. The chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying it. Dining there left us with a very pleasant memory.    [20 Dec 2004 17:30:13]

Very Romantic
I wasn't sure about this resturaunt at first because the food isn't what I normally go out for. But it was definitely worth an evening to check out. It's very intimate and very romantic. Our sever was great. we didn't even know she was there the whole night. She didn't bother us with the banal "how is everything" every 5 min, she knew the food was good and she knew we wanted to be with ourselves. Definitely worth the price!

The only complaint I have about this place is we sat in one of two seats close to the kitchen and someone was making the dishes pretty loud and obnoxious. But that went away after a couple minutes    [22 Jan 2007 21:31:44]
