Predictable food with exceptional service
Whereas the food is typical Applebee's the service here is something you're more likely to see in more upscale places.

I went there on my birthday and, well, I'm a notoriously picky eater. Between allergies and food preferences I was not too keen on the offered desserts. The general manager, George, was not going to take no for an answer and had the bartender whip me up a wonderful smoothy instead of the ice cream/chocolate heavy regular fare.

This amazing detail on service made the whole experience pretty impressive.    [27 Sep 2005 11:06:55]
