This is an old historic building- the bathrooms are located downstairs. The tables are wheelchair accessible but the bathrooms are not.

Best restaurant in Ann Arbor
Easily the best food in Ann Arbor (unless you count Zingerman's). In fact the only truly excellent sit down restaurant.

Very formal decor and service (though they're friendly), a creative menu, and consistently great food.

From the moment you walk in the door you know you are welcome! They also have a beautiful private banquet area upstairs for small parties- my friend had her rehearsal dinner there. The food was great!    [09 Oct 2005 10:24:14]

Outdoor Dining
Stay off of Main Street, with its crowds and cars, and head to Liberty Street to the Bella Ciao. Watch the sunset on their patio- tablecloths, fresh flowers, great wine and great food. We were there last night with our dog and she was welcomed with a Champagne Bucket of water! Great service- great atmosphere.    [21 Apr 2006 10:25:43]

What Happened????!
Somebody PLEASE tell me what happened to the Bella Ciao?! It was good for a few years and now...Yuck! Service is horrible- the food is Mediocre- you can hear the staff talking about inappropriate topics! No manager was in sight to even complain about this!
