Enjoyable Dining

Trying hard to be European
The Euro-pretension, complete with occasionaly snobbishness, is annoying, but the food is quite good. Many creative, interesting small dishes make it a very pleasing meal.

Cafe Felix is my favorite place
Cafe Felix was my favorite place to go when I lived in Ann Arbor- and now that I don't, I look forward to going there for a nice cup of coffee, omelette or a Martini and dinner! Best Cafe in Town
Pleasant ambiance. Yes, it tries hard to be European, but it works. I'd guess that over half the clientele are European. It gets noisy on Friday nights with a live band, but the other nights are chill, with great desert and drink options.    [08 Feb 2005 15:21:14]

Nice atmosphere but bad food
It's got a great location - right on the middle of Main Street. It's got a great French-American menu. However, the execution falls far short of its potential. The Croque Monsieur was not even close to its name-sake - indeed, it was a plain ham & cheese sandwich. The bread was stale. The ham wasn't top quality. The cheese wasn't gruyere. Incroyable!!!!
I am from Paris and Café Felix is the ONLY place in Michigan that makes me feel like I am home. The food is superbe! The presentation is très français and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend going to Café Felix. Especially for the bon chic, bon genre crowd!    [17 Oct 2006 08:48:31]

Great location. Bad service.
We went there a few times over the course of the summer, each time hoping that the service wouldn't be awful.

We were served burned food at least twice. On the last time were were there one of our party accidentally spilled a drink. Our server saw her do it (she was standing right behind her) and just walked away without helping to clean it up or bringing napkins/towels. We had to go find napkins to clean up the table because the server disappeared into the kitchen.    [26 Oct 2006 08:03:07]
