New Owners New owners care nothing for their local core patrons. I was told this directly by Mark, one of the new owners. The money locals spend at the restaurant/bar means nothing to Mark. His negative attitude is seeping through the entire staff. This place could be a wonderful local/vistor hang out. The owner's views have changed this outlook. The restaurant would be the best if this owner appreciated his customers. The food is great, the service is great, the owner sucks lemons. [15 Apr 2006 00:27:04]

Poor Service, Bad Cook, Owner's Attitude Stinks The place is unique and could have a true niche in the area, but the waitstaff is inexperienced, the cooks don't know how to cook a good steak, and the owner didn't care what we thought and told us that personally.
We were served well-done filet mignons when we asked for rare, not to mention no silverware, cold bread, empty drink glasses, and the wrong special prices posted on the nightly special board.
We sent the steaks back twice and finally got what we ordered. The chef apologized, the waitress had no clue how to correct the problem, so the chef offered dessert on the house. No one could tell us what the dessert selections were and we had to walk up to a display to look. They still weren't labeled and we had to guess. We ordered a takeout dish to bring back to my sister's husband and they forgot to bring it to us. They did take some money off the bill but the evening was topped off when the owner told us personally that he had 600 guests come through his door tonight and we were the first to complain. He said that's a good night in his book. He didn't care that we were dissatisfied and told us not to return if we weren't happy with his place. So, we won't, and I recommed that you think twice about visiting too! [23 Jun 2006 23:25:55]

New owner, food quality down Since the new owner took over, the quality of the food is down. The food had been excellent, it now is fair. It is OK to eat there now, but not the fine dining experience as before. I recommend that if possible you buy coupons from restaurant.com-- then you'll end up paying what the meal is worth. Rounding Fee??? Everyone in my party was charged a rounding fee up to the nearest nickel because the owner does not like dealing with pennies. Food was average fare, a far cry from True Creole. [01 Nov 2006 09:33:52]
