great place
We visited last November from Ontario for a weekend of shopping & enjoyed Dixie Dave's so much we had dinner there both nights. The food was great! & so were Dave & his wife, who took the time to talk to us & write me out a recipe for the spinach salad I enjoyed so much! Unique experience
After watching Dixie Dave Minar cook for years on the Mike Avery Outdoors show I finally made it to Dave's retsaurant. I was thrilled with the decor and the food was SUPERB. From appetizer to dessert, the food was wonderful.    [19 Aug 2006 09:23:20]

Great Guy, Great Game!
Dixie Dave Minar is a really cool guy with the chef skills to turn even ordinarily tough game meats into melt in your mouth taste treats. There are meals for the non-adventurous as well that are tasty and everything he can use that's organic or top quality he uses! No junk in his ingredients!    [07 Mar 2009 12:05:00]
