Great Family Restaurant Food: Large selections. Breakfast is served all day. One word that would discribe the food is: comfort. The meals are just like ma's homemade meals. The portions are huge and very filling. The menu suggests that if you go home hungry after eating a dinner there then you didn't clean your plate. And it's true. There is a kids menu and Senior menu(which has a large selection.) The wait staff is very friendly and seem to be always smiling. They will greet you at both enterances and you get to pick where you want to sit. There is a smoking section and non-smoking but the restaurant is small. The wait staff have to wear bibs/overalls and name tags. When kids come in the wait staff likes to give them a toy and crayons to help wait out the time it takes for their food to be served. The aspect of the Kountry Kitchen is a southern feel about the restaurant. They play old and sometimes new Country music on the XM Radio. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I believe for what you get on your plate or plates it's not very pricey. In other words you won't break your pocket book. You can make reservations or drop in unexpectedly either way you are welcome. This is a great place for the family or geeting together with friends. I am an employee of this restaurant. [10 Jun 2005 21:05:07]

I love Beckey's Okay - if you're out for a night with a date and want something romantic, this isn't the place. Beckey's is essentially just a big roadside diner. However, what sets it apart are the uniforms (overalls), the decor (think up north cabin and then add even more humor) and the food.... the food is GREAT for a small town restaurant, and the menu is so vast you'll need to visit every day for a month to try out all of the entrees and sandwiches. I can only attest to the salmon, the pot roast dinner, a few hamburgers, and breakfast - all of which were prepared perfectly. If you like your restaurants basic, unpretentious and fun, Beckey's is a good place to visit.
Oh yeah - the banana nut and blueberry bread loaves are excellent and served warm! [27 Jun 2006 16:55:35]
