Wonderful Food, Great Service
I visited for lunch over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Very attentive staff, including the General Manager (Dan) who stopped by the table, and great food. Open layout and pleasantly decorated, the atmosphere was quite relaxed. I had a spicy shrimp and chicken pasta meal with a house salad and a bowl of Tuscan bean soup, all of which were very tasty. The spicy part of the main dish was mainly cayenne pepper, I think, but the balance of spice and overall taste of the ingredients was perfect (it also had sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and green onions with a cream-type sauce). The meal was served piping hot. Our server (Lauren) checked on us frequently, and left the check at an appropriate point in our dining without being asked. When we asked for a box for the balance of our uneaten lunch, it came back with the day's date and menu name on it, too! That's a new one for me, and a clever twist.
