Personality and Good Food
The food here is very, very good...even the fried food is above average and not very greasy. (I usually don't care for fried food at all.) The atmosphere is basically 50s, and even though the prices aren't quite stuck in the 50s, they are low. They have a 1 1/3 lb. mega-burger (you get a free T-shirt if you finish it) and the wait staff is very sociable. There are a lot of interesting specials that rotate through every week or so, like Michigan cherry, chicken, and walnut salad; broiled salmon, and Swedish Meatballs. Their onion rings are the best around, too. To write an honest review, I have to include the bad with the good--the only bad point is, the restaurant still has a smoking section, but the smoke isn't noticeable from the non-smoking area. They close early (8:00) on Sundays, but other days they're open until 10:00.    [28 Feb 2006 20:11:50]

Oh the food!
I found the NY strip steak to be both a good deal and a great meal. The meat was tender and very tasty. Good service, nice surroundings- I will be back many times.    [21 Mar 2006 16:17:43]
