Great Food

Good food but....
I really do like the food here. The Roti are especially good - hot, fresh, delicious. The vegetables that accompany it are kind of crummy and tasteless. The jerk chicken sandwich is good too.

My only complaint is that they are quite expensive. I realize that they are unique, however I don't always feel it is a good value for money otherwise I would come here more often.    [22 Sep 2006 12:54:57]

Excellent!!
My lady friend and I ate there this past Friday. It's tucked away in a little strip mall; about a dozen tables and booths, and a lot of carry-out business.

The food is excellent, and they can make things as spicy (or not) as you like. VERY friendly staff, very helpful in answering questions. The salmon fritters and the jerk pork were both very good. For you "corner-soors" out there they even have goat on the menu, which they acquire at the Eastern Market.

Great food, but prices too high

A welcomed change of pace...
In a town filled with food chains, Irie is a welcomed change of pace. They have great food and smoothies at a reasonable price. Everything is made from scratch and is quite diverse in tates. I am addicted to the food at Irie Carribean Cuisine!
I absolutely love the jerk pork sandwich and seem to crave it constantly. I've tried other menu items also and they are great, but I always come back to the pork sandwich. The desserts are quite yummy also and I can make a complete meal out of all of the side dishes.    [14 Feb 2007 12:15:42]
