Cashew Chicken on the rocks! I've been ordering take out at this restaraunt for over two years. The food has been good - but they have been rude to me a number of times (sometimes nice, they gave my daughter a piece of candy and a dollar bill one time). My mother was eating the food a few weeks ago and she bit into something and it broke her tooth. She claimed it was a rock and we laughed at her. Today, I ordered cashew chicken (no spice) and when I put my spoon into the food I hear a clang. You won't believe this but I pulled ot a 1 inch rock! I couldn't believe it. I called them back and asked for a refund and they said that it was not their policy. They offered me a different dish , but for some reason I don't feel comfortable eating their food. The department of health will get a call from me tomorrow. [10 Dec 2004 18:56:10]

Great Food! Family Oriented! I wrote the above review about Leong's on Gratiot- not the one on 23 mile. Please replace the post. Furthermore, I have been to plenty of Chinese restaurants that serve the usual "Fast Food" Chinese Food but Leong's is by far one of the best when it comes to taste. The quality of their meat and sauces is unlike other restaurants I have encountered. I've ordered everything from their stir-fry dishes to items on their Thai menu. Best of all, they give you enough food to feed two or enough for you to take home to snack on later.
Dining in was quite the experience, you get a "homemade" loaf of bread on the house (unheard of for Chinese restaurants) when you order. Overall, I'd say Leong's family environment and quality of food makes it one of the best restaurants for "fast food" Chinese.

Delicious Food! Reaonsably priced! Fun! Remember when you were a kid and you would bug, beg, or drag your parents out to a restaurant where you know you'd get an enormous amount of delicious food? Leong's restaurant is reminiscent of that. There, you receive abudant portions of tasty food. Forget table etiquette, dig in immediately. The food is too tasty to just sit and become cold. For example, their homemade plum sauce and hot mustard are perfect compliments to their egg rolls. I must say, Leong's is a great place to take your family for a relaxing, fulfilling, and exciting dining experience.
