This is an old time drive-in restaurant with the normal drive-in food.
The place was neat and well maintained (can't vouch for your car's ambiance)
The service was exceptionally good

The root beer is good, too.
A good example of a type of restaurant that seems to be disappearing; a drive-in restaurant with carhops. Service was excellent, the food was pretty good, and the root beer was also very good. The establishment was neat and would seem to be well maintained.

For those who have never been to this type of restaurant, I want to mention that it is not a fast food place. Think of it as a diner or cafe, with the food prepared to your order, but you sit in your car with the food delivered on a tray that the carhop attaches to your window rather than at a table or booth.    [10 Sep 2006 13:08:19]
