Description
A restaurant a few miles outside Colon, Michigan that is known for its butterflies and hummingbirds during the summer and the deer during the winter. And it also has a reputation for excellent food. The menu includes steaks, seafood, lamb, pork, and fowl.
A garden behind the restaurant, and a field beyond that, are planted with flowers and flowering shrubs that attract the butterflies and hummingbirds.

Excellent Thanksgiving Buffet My wife and I ate our Thanksgiving dinner at the River Lake Inn, and we chose to have the buffet. We both felt that the food that we ate (turkey and the traditional trimmings) was excellent, and she was especially impressed by the salad bar. The buffet included many more choices that we did not try.
I have heard from others that the prime rib is exceptionally good at this restaurant, but I have not yet tried it myself. [24 Nov 2006 21:05:34]

First Time Visit Ordered buffet. Not a wide choice of selection. Service was poor. Was over billed. Will not return [04 Dec 2006 12:16:34]

Seafood buffet We had a group of 6 we all had the seafood buffet. The food was great, which is an understatement because we all consumed about 1-2 lbs of crab legs. It was about the same price as Red Lobster, but better food quality [26 Apr 2007 19:42:23]
