Nothing Better in This World!
American Coney Island is simply the best coney place in the world. Dogs pop juicily when you bite into them. The chili is the right combo of sweet and savory. The chopped onions are always crisp and strong. Loose in a Bunch meat, if that's your thing, is cooked perfectly - never dried out and always flavorful. And you'll love the old-timer waiters who never write an order down, no matter how huge your party, and always get it right. I recommend going at 1 in the morning after a wedding or big shindig with your closest friends and family-- it's always a better time than the actual event before! Coney Island Quality
American Coney island is definitely one of the two tastiest Coney's in the U.S.

The other, which is nearly identical is Pink's Coney Islandin L.A. on LaBrea.

Since I left Detroit in 1974, I've tried other Coney's all over America, even Nathan' s in New York (close) and James Coney Island in Houston, Sonic's in Texas and several in Chicago...
