The place to go for good authentic Mexican food I recommend a trip to Camelia's. There is a variety on the menu. Everything that my husband and I have tried has been very good. They even do catering. I liked especially the tacos and the combo fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. [17 Sep 2005 12:03:56]

Really pleased My husband and I went to Camelia's for the first time last night and were very impressed. We arrived at 7:00pm on a Friday and had no wait. Camelia's carries the standard food you find in any Mexican restaurant in the US as well as real tacos (soft corn tortillas) served with lime and homemade tamales.
The food was very tasty and the tacos took me back to a little taqueria in Mexico. Everything was nicely seasoned, though a little salty. The salsa had a wonderful garlic cilantro flavor. The waitress was very patient and helpful. Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely return. [14 Jan 2006 08:09:25]

Sadly Disapointing Waited for 45 minutes to have our order taken. Waited another 30 minutes to receive our meals. Ordered the flautas YUCK! the worst I've ever had. Was told they were made with shredded beef, but they were made out of ground beef. The rice was bland and the beans were salty and tasted like bacon fat. The only thing that was decent was the salsa and chips. Left there not even eating the meals. [27 Oct 2006 18:54:31]

Nasty We ate at Camelia's on Sunday, Nov. 19th 2006 and were sadly disappointed. Our family ordered various things; Beef Taco Salad, Enchiladas, Quesadillas and a Kids Combo. The lettuce on the taco salad was wilted and the meat tasted old and cold. The refried beans were also old-tasting and had way too much bacon fat added. The kids combo left alot to be desired as well. The rice was hard and dry.
Maria, our waitress told us that they had moved from another location and that they would be getting their liquor license soon. Even though they were not busy, My husband had to raise his empty glass for it to be refilled. We will not be going back, even with a few margaritas to kill the taste of this food. Camelia's is the best in the Metro area Camelia's has the best chips and salsa and ajitas in the Metro area. The beans are made with bacon (it says so on the menu)-- they taste excellent. The fajitas are excellent as well.
Their service could stand to be a little better; everyone is nice enough, but you do sometimes have to ask for refills--something frequent diners at Mexican restaraunts shouldn't find too unusual. [01 Jan 2007 18:26:49]

Best beans ever My husband and I have been to Camelia's 4 times. Each time the food has been great. We both love the salsa and the refried beans!
Service has varied, but overall is no worse than any other place I've gone. We've had different servers, ranging from very friendly and helpful, to somewhat indifferent. As long as the food is good and the servers are not out-and-out rude, I'm happy! [10 Feb 2007 12:45:51]

Good Food...Good Price Service was OK and the food was good. The price was good also. The only complaints I had were my girlfriend had a chicken burrito that she said was sort of bland and I think they need more pork dishes. [17 Apr 2007 12:18:44]
