Ferndale Italian A small space, checkered table cloths, home brewed wine only. The usual neighborhood Italian restaurant, but the dished are better than usually provided.
Garlic bread baked at restaurant on the table as appetizer.

A Ferndale Secret Maria's is a great get away from the crowd restaurant. Its small dining room is full of tables adorned with red and white checked tablecloths. An old Chianti bottle covered in candle wax sits atop every table. Decorative white lights are draped around the room to give it added ambiance. The food is great, especially the Spinach Tortellini. The homemade Sangria is very good as well. All in all Maria's is a great night out. [15 May 2003 11:53:06]

Dreams of Italia I like Marias because it reminds me of a little place in the Jewish Quarter of Rome. Its not at all fancy inside, but romantic and cozy. All the more when you mix in the wine. The food is good, too. But if you are looking for giant platters of pasta, head elsewhere. The portions are more "European" sized. [04 Oct 2006 19:17:30]
