Call it what you want: a cheesesteak, a hoagie, a grinder, or just a plain old sub, but Big John's Steak & Onion is the best sandwich you're ever likely to come across.

I know, I know, detractors...but before you say it, yes, I've had excellent steak sandwiches in NYC, Chicago, Jersey and even the legendary cheesesteaks of Philly. Big John's STILL rules the roost.

Homesick for Big John's
I have been living in Texas for 20 years and when I go home to Grand Blanc, one of my first runs will be up to Big John's on Corunna Road. I took my Texan husband there who professes to not be really keen on "Yankee food" and he adored these sandwiches. Awesome stuff!!!    [12 Aug 2006 18:00:37]
