They don't have the greatest phone skills. Asked about reservations and was told that they only take them for parties of 5 and over. I had a party of two. I asked how busy they were Saturdays at 5PM. I was asked to be put on hold and was never brought back online. Party of two going elsewhere.
Have eaten there before, it was worth the return phone to see about my party of two. Obviously too busy though to finish my call. [14 Jan 2005 20:23:51]

What a Pleasant Surprise My Husband took me out there one lovely Sat. and what a nice surprise!!! We were able to sit out on the patio to dine and had a hard time choosing from the extensive menu. Had the Pot Roast Nachos recommended by our Waitress. Would go back just for those. The entire meal was wonderful including dessert which we took home. Key Lime Cheesecake. Definately worth the trip from Commerce Twp., MI [05 Jul 2005 09:26:06]

Disgusting We stopped for an early evening dinner there tonight. First thing that put me off was the waitress making fun of my stuttering problem. I ordered a coconut shrimp appetizer, clam chowder, and a rib eye steak. The bread that came with the meal was hard as a rock. The clam chowder had lots of green flecks in it, which I assumed were parsley flakes. I had only two small tastes of it before I pushed it away. The waitress apologized, and offered to replace it with chicken dumpling soup, which was filled with the parsley flakes. So much so, that you could not taste the difference between the chicken, celery, or anything in the soup. The shrimp was the only decent thing I ate, but it was nothing special. The menu lists the shrimp as coming with it's own "house blend" of cocktail sauce - it's orange marmalade. The steak arrived, and while cooked properly, it was covered in what they refer to as a demi-glace, but tasted like rendered soy sauce. Once again, you could not taste any difference between the ingredients. The waitress offered to take it back and recook it, to which I tried to explain that it would then be over cooked. I declined, and ate it as-is. Mashed potato is called a side dish for a reason, it is to be served on the side. not under the steak. They were brown, which I attributed to the demi-glace, but they had been mixed with what tasted like boiled garlic. At no time did she offer to get a manager, at no time did she offer to take anything off the bill. Just kept going to the kitchen to talk to the chef, and returning to tell me that "it's supposed to taste like that". I paid a restaurant $80 for really bad food. [19 Oct 2008 23:53:14]
