50s style eatery Whether you call it "chicken to go" or "That Place" (literally That Place) - it is still a great 50s-themed restaurant. The food is priced fairly and always great. This place.. uh.. I mean "That Place" is usually packed on the weekends, and also understaffed, expect slow service on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. Also, keep in mind there is a McDonalds just up the street, and many folks tend to head there for lunch, so usually Chicken to Go is a good spot for afternoon meals.
I have eaten at That Place for several years now and the only time they let me down was when ordering the chicken to go once-- the understaffed and overworked cook made my chicken too greasy and not fully cooked, but other than that its theme is great and very visual, with a hand drawn Elvis portrait, many classic cars and a James Dean poster decorating the wall.
Chicken to Go has great atmosphere with fairly priced decent tasting eats! Recommended for lunch or week day dinners when you dont feel like cooking. [23 Nov 2006 15:20:00]
