Sammy's was a staple in Hillsdale for decades. One of the first of it's kind, if not the first in Hillsdale. It is no longer Sammy's as the owners sold it recently. It will be sorely missed. I grew up in that place. Had excellent pizza, subs and Mexican fare.    [28 Jan 2007 21:57:21]

Say it isn't so!
I don't know how many Baby Lee's and Taco Salads I ate from Sammy's during my 4 years at Hillsdale! I've never found anything like them anywhere else. Now, nobody had better tell me that the Pink Panther Truck Stop/Marsha's Country Corral near Jonesville or Ray's Tavern in Reading are gone!    [19 Feb 2007 17:15:27]
