It was great in '68
...When I could finally get in, legally. Beer shells were 10 cents, chilled 16 oz mugs a quarter. Pitchers were a buck. Highball pichers were 3 dollars. Of course at the groceries you could get Sauna Beer, regular Bosch, and Gilt Edge for 79, 89, and 99 cents a 6-pack cold. Didn't eat there back then, went up to the pizza place (forgot name) up the hill.

best beer in town
A bit on the pricey side, though the food is decent. It is a local brewery and it has the best beer in town: several varieties catering to different tastes, but all pretty good.    [21 Sep 2006 09:33:55]
