The Hofbrau used to be a wonderful, local bar-style place. The new owners have made much effort to improve the ambience. What they have sacrificed is quality. I have twice been served spoiled lettuce and dressing. My steak was a very poor cut and not cooked as requested. The Hofbrau is very expensive, and lacks the quality ingredients that customers expect when they pay those prices.    [04 Aug 2005 11:40:02]
