Excellent barbecued ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, homemade chips, slaw, bread, and sweet potato pie.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and brand new. Bench seating at finished pine picnic tables, seats about 40 people with an additional banquet room for overflow. Prices are very reasonable for a lot of food. A family of four can easily get by for $20-$25. []

My wife and I ate at Saucy Dog's BBQ for the first time in November of 2006. We each had the pulled pork sandwich ($5.99), which includes potato chips, and I also had a side order of beans ($1.99).
We both felt that the pork was very well prepared, and just a splash of barbecue sauce and some cole slaw, both added by the kitchen, was all that was needed to produce an excellent sandwich. I felt the beans, cooked with the addition of scraps of pork and barbecue sauce, were also very good.
While they put little or no barbecue sauce on the pulled pork, you are provided with 3 bottles of sauce on the table to apply to the meat as you desire: spicy tomato based, sweet tomato based, and mustard based. I did try the mustard based barbecue sauce and found the taste to my liking. [25 Nov 2006 22:06:50]

Family-friendly sports restaurant Good food, large portions. Recently expanded menu, with lots of choices that my kids like. Atmosphere is sports bar, but remains family friendly. No smoking restaurant! You may be surprised to find this fun place in little ol' Jonesville. [02 Apr 2007 22:50:00]
