Adriatic serves up European food and atmosphere This restaurant has great ambiance, and the food is incredible. The food has a Slavic influence and has many items that are full of flavor! I have had 4 dishes there so far, and they have all been superb! A must go if you like European flavor and a nice atmosphere. [06 Mar 2006 10:24:42]

Losing it's appeal In the past few months, the Adriatic has been making a few changes that I am not too happy with. Somehow the new owner thinks a Bistro and Sports Bar can coexsist - NOT! And gumbo and crawfish along with together with European dishes!?! I think this man needs a good lesson in geography!
The new local staff cannot make coffee as well as the old timers that used to work there. And on the weekends, you could see great Bosnian music, which interested me, though I don't speak the language. Now all you get to see are the Budweiser Girls - blah! What happened to my old Adriatic!?! [28 Oct 2006 15:45:12]

Lost all the great ADRIATIC flair For starters, what happend to the only place in town carrying Lavazza Coffee? I do not wish to drink any more coffee products at the Adriatic Bistro/Scooters Bistro!!!
How can I take my child to the Adriatic if there is no non-smoking area anymore?
The new menu is terrible, a lot of miss spelled names and no clue about heritage. Scott Kotrch needs a geography lesson desperately.
Why use most of the European dishes in the new menu if he doesn't know where they come from or how they are cooked!!! The best meeting point for Europeans in general vanished over night.
I do not give him a bright future if he takes all the goodness from that place away. [12 Jan 2007 18:15:51]

Losing Good Service Personally, I used to enjoy Adriatic- it had a beautiful ambiance, great food and great customer service. The waiters were friendly and very helpful.
Ever since the new owner changed the name to Scooter's Bar and Grill things have been changing. The waiters are horrible- they have no customer service skills. They barely ever clean the tables or ever come to see how you are doing. You actually have to hunt them down to get some help and once you get help, they are disrespectful and impolite.
The food has lost its heritage although I think it still is good.
I do enjoy listening to the Bosnian music on weekends but I would love if they had a non-smoking section. I appreciate the new owner keeping the Balkan traditions alive but I would love if he changed his Saturday staff. When I visit during working days, I get better service but on weekends service is horrible. If that service continues, I do not see a future for this restaurant. [11 Mar 2007 11:54:50]
