Greatest Italian restaurant in Michigan
I pride myself on being a good-great Italian cook! I have tried numerous Italian restaurants and been very displeased until I found the "villa"! The sauce tastes very close to my Grama’s "gravy" from the old country and the ambience is perfect for an intimate date (which is on the bar side) or would be great for larger parties on the restaurant side...I am very sincere because in my 47 years of life I have never written a review of anything or complimented someone’s "gravy" above mine! Great Italian in Downtown Lapeer
I love this place, cozy booths, great service and a dimmly lit atmosphere. They have a great clam chowder and a perfect red sause. Try their homemade italian sausage, no casing, but its great. Prime rib is also a treat here, as well as pasta with baked cheese.    [15 May 2007 13:11:59]
