Less than appetizing!
I'm writing this review to hopefully prevent anyone from going through what we went through last weekend.
After making a reservation and confirming over the phone (I called them to confirm numbers) we were told upon arrival that there was no reservation under our name. However they were able to get us a table for 7 in about 15 minutes.

Long story short, things got worse....not better.
We got no apology for the mix-up. The waiter gave very poor service to say the least and when I complained to the manager he was incredibly rude.

Our waiter was slow and inconsistent. He crumbled the cork in our first bottle of wine and didn't even acnowledge it, and when we ordered a second he told us they had none of that variety left, which in my personal opinion (as someone who waitressed and bartended for 7 years through college) is something that you should make a group of that size aware of before you open the first one, since we were all drinking the same wine and more than likely to order more.

He served rolls with hard, cold, unspreadable butter which I had to ask to be microwaved just so we could use it.
Our food came out worng, steaks were under and over cooked, the waiter couldn't tell the difference between the different steaks and sides were mixed up and had to be replaced so we couldn't tell either, and just because I am so unhappy with the whole ordeal I want to also mention that the mashed potatoes were very obviously instant and not mixed very well.

After numerous remarks from others at the table I asked the waiter to get the manager. When I told him the problems from the reservation, to the wine, to the food he seemed very unconcerned. He asked me if he could replace my food by which time we had all kind of accepted what we had in front of us and most were well into their meals and were ready to just get out of there.

It turns out that they were not out of the wine we had ordered and the manager did bring us another bottle on the house which I guess is some compensation. The manager also came to me before we left and quite sternly informed me that our reservation was in fact in their book but was written down for the wrong time and for the wrong number of people... how could this happen when I called twice to make sure it wouldn't?

My feeling is that if I had gone to a different restaurant and ordered a $10 steak that was a little overcooked I would have expected it. I ordered a $40 steak and they just didn't seem to care that 7 people left unhappy.

On our arrival my husband had commented on how few people were in the restaurant which we understood to be quite busy (hence the reservation) And now I know why!    [04 Jun 2007 13:44:06]

Firstly, the food was great! Service? Wonderful!

Overall, awesome place, very well done.

Our busser Devin was a cutie pie.
