Lost This Customer
I was just in the Monroe, MI Telegraph Road drive through (Sunday 4/4/04 2:30 PM) and ordered a Double Deluxe and small fry. The menu listed the Double Deluxe at $1.99 and fries at $.99. When I was given my total it seemed too high. When I questioned it, the employee (a young man), said that the hamburger was $2.39. I told him that the menu listed it at $1.99. He said "Well, what do you want me to do about it. It's wrong"
Is this the way thier employees are instructed to treat customers? If the menu gave the price of $1.99 what he should have done about it is charge me $1.99 and get out there and change the menu if it was wrong. Needless to say I left without purchasing a meal and I'll not be back.    [04 Apr 2004 15:06:14]
